In collaboration with British Triathlon.


Take part in a GoTri Fun Triathlon Experience and enjoy the atmosphere of a large triathlon event.

A GoTri experience offers fun distances for first-timers and are great at building confidence in swimming, cycling & running, all on one day.

All our GoTri Experiences are non-competitive and support is offered to all who sign up.

British Triathlon will be hosting Active Sessions prior to each experience, with help and useful advice from one of their own qualified coaches.

With six events to choose from in 2022. There has never been a better time to GoTri!

Henley Triathlon - Experience Info - Course Maps

Join us in our 13th year of this popular event taking place at Henley Leisure Centre and within the grounds of Gillotts School.

Henley-on-Thames is perhaps best known for the annual Royal Regatta, which attracts some of the world´s finest rowers.

Conveniently situated just outside the picturesque town of Henley, on the edge of the Chiltern Hills & the banks of the River Thames and boasting a spectator-friendly course, the Henley Triathlon is one not to be missed.

Places are sure to fill up quickly, so secure your place and enter now.

  • Leisure centre heated indoor pool swim
  • Rural Oxfordshire countryside bike course
  • Flat grass run course within the grounds of Gillotts School

Unfortunately due to the venue being a school playing field, there are no dogs allowed on the site.

The Course

The swim discipline takes place from the indoor swimming pool followed by the cycle course which is flat with some undulations and takes in many fields and trees in this rural route through the Oxfordshire countryside. The final run discipline is on grass around the picturesque grounds of Gillotts School.

York Triathlon - Event Info - Course Maps

The York Triathlon returns to York Sport Village and the UK Triathlon Race Calendar for its 9th year.

The triathlon starts with a swim in the heated indoor pool, follows on with a flat multi-lapped bike course, and finishes with a run.

This spectator-friendly venue is perfect for crowds to cheer on competitors and create a fun & relaxed atmosphere so, whether participating or supporting, get colleagues, friends and family involved, take on the challenge and join in the fun.

  • Located on the university’s safe and attractive Heslington campus close to York city centre

Swim course distance: 1 length = 25m
Super Sprint & Fun: 25m length x 8 lengths = 200m

Bike course distance: 1 lap = 3km
Super Sprint & Fun: 3km lap x 3 laps = 9km

Run course distance: 1 lap = 1.25km
Super Sprint & Fun: 1,25km lap x 2 laps = 2.5km

  • The bike course is lapped, flat as well as on a fully closed road to traffic.
  • The run course is lapped, flat as well as fully closed to the public and traffic.
  • All competitors must count their own swim lengths in the pool, their own laps on the bike and run.
  • It is compulsory to wear a cycle helmet on the cycle section of the race.
  • The event is chip timed.

North West Triathlon - Experience Info - Course Maps

Join us at the GoTri Fun experience at the North West Triathlon. This fun experience offers a spectator friendly venue for supporting family or friends and a fun and relaxed atmosphere is guaranteed.

  • Heated outdoor pool swim in one of very few remaining inland brine pools left in the UK

The Course

The race starts from the 33 metre heated indoor pool in the leisure centre, followed by a one lap cycle course which heads out towards the town of Warwick, in the Warwickshire countryside, before returning to Stratford for the final discipline.

The run is out alongside the picturesque river Avon and back to the Leisure and Visitor Centre to the finish line. The run course is once out and back for The GoTri Triathlon.

The course is spectator friendly and all the action can be seen at the rear of the Leisure Centre where the main transition area and finish line are situated.

GoTri Fun Triathlon Experience at the Cheshire Triathlon is set in Nantwich and has been enjoyed by thousands of competitors. This year the event turns 30!

The session will help you pick up useful tips ahead of the day, as well as allow you to understand the course better.

The sessions will be led by a British Triathlon level 2 qualified coach, & will include the following.

  • Registration and brief introduction to your event
  • Swim Session
  • Bike handling and Transition
  • Run (pacing)
